Terms of service
Last updated: October 2026
Draft: these terms will be reviewed by a lawyer before charging customers.
1. What Stayslit is
Stayslit keeps your Slack status active during the schedule you set, using your own Slack web session from a server. It doesn’t read, write or send messages.
2. Your responsibility
You choose to use it. You are solely responsible for making sure your use complies with your company’s or employer’s policies, your employment contract, Slack’s terms and the applicable laws.
3. Your credentials
To work, we store your Slack session credentials encrypted. They are only used to keep your presence during your schedule. You can disconnect them at any time and they are deleted.
4. Plans and payments
After the free trial, the service requires a paid subscription. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period and is then paused. Partial periods are not refunded. Price changes are announced at least 30 days in advance.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t share your account, try to access other people’s accounts, resell the service or use it for illegal activities. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or the free trial.
6. No warranties
The service is provided “as is”. Slack may change how it works at any time, which may affect Stayslit. We don’t guarantee continuous availability and aren’t liable for employment or other consequences of its use.
7. Changes and termination
We may change the service or these terms with reasonable notice. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Security.
