Many people work flexible hours, run an errand mid-day or simply close the laptop at lunch. Slack, though, shows you as away as soon as your computer stops sending activity, even when you鈥檙e perfectly reachable.
Stayslit exists so your status reflects your working hours instead of whether a laptop lid is open.
What it does, and what it doesn鈥檛
- It keeps your presence indicator green during the hours you choose.
- It does not read, write or send messages, and it never opens your channels or files.
- It does not hide anything from your employer or make you look like you worked when you didn鈥檛. It only controls how your status looks to colleagues.

Your credentials are stored encrypted and used only to keep your presence during your schedule. You can disconnect and delete everything at any time.
